The Irish Wedding Quilt
Posted by macroge1176 on Monday, March 14th, 2011
I recently completed an Irish Wedding Quilt for a customer. She carefully chose green fabrics with my help. It was important to have Celtic symbols in the quilt so I really took some time to bring in the Celtic designs to bring the quilt together. This is a small quilt, roughly 51 inches square but packed with love from a mom for her daughter who is getting married this year. I used celery green thread to give subtle quilting accents to the fabrics chosen.
This was a fun project to do with Saint Patrick's Day this week. This is the time when everyone likes to celebrate even if they are not Irish!
