Brennan's Christmas Quilt

I had the joy of creating this Christmas memory quilt from a loving mom and dad for their son. They made this very special by coming to my home and participated in the layout of the blocks with me. Brennan's mom chose a high end designer plaid for the borders and sashing. In order to get the look I achieved it was necessary for me to "fussy cut" the plaid to get the matches of plaids. It took longer to cut out, but I loved the final look of the quilt. The outer border of the quilt was a solid hunter green so I chose the elaborate feather borders to make that stand out. This was such a delightful project from start to finish. This quilt is an example of why I love my job.
