The Camp Quilt

My most recent quilt completed is a gift for a young girl to commerate her camping years. I used a fabric that is entitled Girlfriends and some companion fabrics. The entire quilt has a lightherted look with fun embellishments like pieces of favorite garments, buttons, appliques and machine embroidery. The backing is a lavendar Peace Sign design so the quilt has a totlally cozy look. I had a very fun time working on this quilt, knowing that it was what the young girl's mom wanted to express her love for her daughter
