My Quilt Workshop

Summer is over and now I am really concentrating on indoor things. The air is crisp and cold so my pretty quilting room is my haven. Can you believe that Christmas is less than two months from now! People are thinkning that special gift for their loved ones. I get great inspiration creating memory quilts using photos, embroidery and great fabrics. My cozy quilting room is well lit and often I listen to audio books while creating my quilts. All sorts of things can go into a memory quilt. Tee Shirts are a favorite of people but I have added segments of baseball caps, football pants, patches and letters from sports. All of these things along with embroidered sayings and photos help make a quilt into a personal tribute of love for someone special.
