A Fun Sports Memory Quilt

Last Christmas I was asked to make a custom memory quilt using athletic shirts and special memory items from a young boy. The mom provided me with shirts, special patches, football pants, etc. This quilt was a tribute of her love for her son and she wanted it to be unique. After I constructed the top I used many different quilt patterns to quilt it. I used footballs for the outer borders and many different patterns to create a quilt with differnent patterns in every block. I loved doing this for the family. All the colors were specially chosen by the mom to help make all the items stand out in the quilt. It is a unique token of love.
