Wedding Gowns with a Future

With June approaching quickly we think of weddings with lovely brides in gorgeous wedding gowns. So much planning goes into a wedding especially the gown. How sad it is that the gorgeous gowns are worn but a few precious hours and then sealed away in an heirloom box. One of my pleasures is getting a wedding gown from a grandmother or new mother with the request to make a christening gown, a quilt or an heirloom baby blanket. The possibilities are endless with all the beautiful elements that make up a wedding gown. I have been doing this service for quite a while. What a better use for a gown and memories to have it preserved in a future family heirloom for generations to come.
